Mail containing contraband typically arrives in envelopes with fake return address information. Mail through the Jmail system is sent by verified users so you know where the mail is coming from.

With the rise of sublingual narcotics being smuggled into prisons through the mail, the increasing costs of detection technology has become cost prohibitive. Digitized mail makes sense.

Using our built in technology, corrections officers can visually inspect mail using keyword filters before either accepting or rejecting the digital mail. Rejected mail is returned to sender with the reason for rejection.

All mail received is searchable and sortable by both inmate and sender. Mail is archived and can be recalled on demand for investigative purposes.

Jmail provides backend management tools that track who and how mail is managed and more. Sort mail by cell blocks, banning tools, mail rejection reasons, inmate transfers, manage admin user levels and customize inspection tools.

All mail/photos are printed with unique identifiers watermarked on them including the inmate’s name and ID#. Corrections Officers can easily identify who mail/photos belong to and use unique identifiers to find the mail in the Jmail system.
